Artwork, sound production and feel of the songs go hand in hand to create a somewhat bleak, moody, cold-war-80s-post-punk influenced output that breathes the spirit of worn-out tapes. super cool.
Favorite track: Corpse In Motion.
“Mud, din, and exasperation baked into brick. Gasped, throaty and aching vocals pass through branches of watery modulation and crunch, with enough pace to incense bodies in motion and enough deviation in tempo to offer crystallised glimpses of, no doubt intended, utter anger. Rumours of melody taper and fade nicely into passages of three chord anarchic punk and dalliances with atonal and free-form guitar punishment. Capped off by buzzing cover art pitting a pastel sunset against the gangrenous shades of Death, and a moreish soundscape collab with Luke Tristram. Like UK Decay being pen pals with Peace Corpse chatting about Parálisis Permanente.”

The first time I heard this album I thought it was interesting & palatable enough to give it a full listen, but I wasn't hooked. Then all week long I found random rhythms stuck in my head so I'd replay a song, then another song, then listen to the album again.. & now I fucking love this album & I feel like it kind of opened up my interests in some regards. Cheers! phonkadelic
This sounds like it could have been released in any of the last 5-6 decades. Solid, tight songs that warm the soul. I’m picking up on a wide diversity of sounds, from The Pixies to Blondie. Really glad to have stumbled across these guys! Mister Anthrope
some of the best music from probably my favorite hardcore band of all time. they screamed what we as a people feel on a fundamental level--that sense of rage at a world so geared to enact preventable mass suffering on us, at all yuppie gays that left us behind and all the cishets that tell us to play nice. i miss them every single day. fxye
